Student Assistant 2 – Entomology
Location:
Columbus, OH – The Ohio State University
Join the Oladipupo Lab in the Department of Entomology. Undergraduate research assistant required for an urban carpenter bee field study.
Position Details- ~20 hours per week, May – June 2026
- Competitive compensation based on experience
- Set up and position traps at designated sites across Columbus
- Regular site visits to check, maintain, and log trap status
- Record field observations and contribute to data analysis in support of carpenter bee management
- Hands‑on field research experience in urban entomology
- Mentorship from a faculty researcher in urban pest management
- Exposure to data analysis workflows used in entomological research
- Valid driver’s license
- Prior field or outdoor research experience
Job Type: Temporary (Fixed Term) – 10 First Shift
