Research Technician 4

Center for Automotive Research (CAR), this position reports to CAR Professor, Giorgio Rizzoni, and assists with the development and adaptation of a software tool intended for use by transit agencies to assess and optimize the battery life of battery electric buses.

• Document and summarize test results.
• Edit research results for publication and presentation.
• Plan and coordinate internal meetings.
• Assist research team in preparing for internal and external research meetings.
• Support schedules and oversee graduate students.

• Minimum education:
  
  bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
• Desired experience: 1 year experience in a research lab.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Scheduled hours: 40 per week
Shift: First Shift

Salary range: $22.93 - $29.95 per hour (based on factors such as education, experience, internal equity).
