Research Faculty - IM Immunology and Rheumatology - (Open Rank/Track Faculty)
LocationDavis Medical Research Center (0382), Columbus, Ohio
Responsibilities- Write and publish research in high-quality peer‑reviewed scientific journals.
- Attend and present research at national and international scientific conferences.
- Develop a national and international scholarly reputation.
- Instruct and mentor junior scientists, doctoral and postdoctoral students, medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Participate in department, college, and university committees and initiatives.
- Conceptualize, plan, design, implement, and conduct research studies focused on rheumatic autoimmune diseases.
- Develop and write grant proposals to maintain funding for the research program.
- Obtain and maintain NIH R01 or equivalent funding.
- Doctoral degree (MD or MD/PhD) in Immunology or a related field.
- Strong track record of high‑level publications.
- Strong track record of ongoing robust peer‑reviewed research funding (e.g., NIH R01).
- Experience in basic immunology, translational science, and clinical investigation of rheumatic autoimmune diseases.
- Ability to develop and manage multidisciplinary research projects.
