Job OverviewResearch Senior Associate who designs, executes and manages research projects investigating foundational biological and health science research. The role collaborates with the Principal Investigator to develop and implement study goals, conceptualize and execute complex laboratory experiments, plan advanced molecular and cellular techniques, coordinate data processing and analysis, and develop new research methodologies.
Key Responsibilities- Design, execute, and manage research projects.
- Collaborate with the PI to set goals and objectives.
- Plan and execute advanced molecular and cellular techniques.
- Oversee data processing, analysis, and interpretation.
- Develop and implement research methodology and controls.
- Literature analysis and integration into research design.
- Write and prepare manuscripts for publication.
- Present findings at national and international conferences.
- Assist in grant proposal development and budgeting.
- Ensure laboratory safety and regulatory compliance.
- Train and supervise research staff.
- Manage laboratory operations and procure supplies and equipment.
- Provide technical assistance and supervise equipment maintenance.
Master’s level degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required QualificationsMaster's degree or equivalent experience required. At least 3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 1 year with a Master’s degree. Considerable experience in a biological or health research capacity is required. A doctoral degree in an appropriate field is desirable.
