The Political Science Department at The Ohio State University invites applications for a one‑year, September 2026 start Post Doctoral Scholar position focused on AI in Politics and Society. The role is based in Columbus, Ohio.

• Conduct research on advanced topics in the application of data analytics and AI to social‑scientific questions.
• Engage with interdisciplinary efforts focused on data analytics and AI, including relevant field seminars.
• Help further the department’s mission by conducting two or more workshops on data‑analytics tools and consulting on data analytics as appropriate.

Doctoral degree in Political Science or a relevant field is required. ABDs are welcome to apply but must have the PhD in hand prior to the start date.

Must have the capacity to integrate methodological insights with substantive research, demonstrated through a record of and/or a promise of scholarly excellence.
