Job Description

About the Role: Friends of Sherrod Brown is seeking an individual to join a growing research team as a Senior Associate for who will work with the Research Director to hold Sen. Brown's opponent accountable.

Responsibilities:

• Compile various products related to paid media and polling for senior staff and consultants.
• Complete opposition research projects, including targeted projects, follow-ups, and reporter pitch documents.
• Assist with the campaign's vetting program, including high-level vets like stories/people/businesses featured in paid media.
• Assists with rapid response as needed.
• Assist with A/V research as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• One cycle of campaign experience required, familiarity with campaign research preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong research and written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with public records tools and political research tools a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Level: Senior Associate

Salary Band: $5,750 to $6,250 per month

Hours:

Full-time position. This position's schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and point in the cycle, and is likely to require evening and weekend work over the course of the election cycle.
