Job Description Post Doctoral Scholar to pursue specialized research training, education and experience under the guidance of a scientific mentor in the Department of Neurology; plans, designs and executes experiments of considerable scope and complexity in the assigned research lab; collects and analyzes data for research sponsored by appropriate agencies and Institutions; identifies and selects problems to be studied; develops and troubleshoots new experimental techniques and protocols;
attends research seminars; contributes to manuscript preparation and supports technical writing; participates in preparation of grant applications for extramural funding; performs additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Education & Experience Required To be considered for this Postdoctoral Scholar position, candidates must possess a Ph.D. in cell biology, molecular biology, neuroscience or related topics, requires applicants to demonstrate strong research skills, data analysis proficiency, and statistical expertise, coupled with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Successful candidates will have a proven ability to collaborate effectively within diverse teams while also showcasing independent research capabilities and a strong trajectory towards research productivity, including peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.## Additional Information:##
