Manager, Laboratory Research Operations
The Division of Infectious Diseases is actively recruiting a Manager, Laboratory Research Operations with expertise in the area of M. tuberculosis and/or other pathogens of public health significance. A successful candidate is expected to have experience in management of research staff, and general biosafety level (BSL-2 and/or BSL-3) laboratory experience (required). The candidate will provide laboratory management support to laboratory members, order supplies and equipment, and interact with vendors as needed.
Desired experience includes flow cytometry, cell culture, purification of organelles (e.g., mitochondria), proper mouse handling, proficient evaluation of mouse survival, necropsy, and organ harvesting techniques.
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
