We're looking for Chemistry Specialists — Masters and PhD-level experts — to design, solve, and evaluate advanced chemistry problems that teach cutting‑edge AI models how to think like a scientist.
AboutThe Role
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just rigorous scientific expertise and a sharp eye for quality.

Remote - Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
- Develop and solve advanced chemistry problems spanning organic, inorganic, physical, and computational chemistry
- Design complex, real‑world problem statements that challenge and train AI reasoning capabilities
- Review AI‑generated chemistry content for scientific accuracy, depth, and rigor
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to improve model performance
- Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of scientific clarity and precision
- Work independently on task‑based assignments — fully on your own schedule
- Master's or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field
- Deep expertise in one or more areas: organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
- Comfortable applying your knowledge to design and solve challenging, nuanced problems
- Strong written communicator who can explain complex concepts clearly and precisely
- Detail‑oriented with a systematic, rigorous approach to scientific work
- Experience coding in Python or working with computational chemistry tools (e.g., Gaussian, VASP)
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or AI evaluation workflows
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts as they apply to scientific reasoning
- Background in scientific writing, peer review, or academic publishing
- Experience designing problem sets, exams, or educational materials at an advanced level
- Work on cutting‑edge AI projects alongside the world's leading research labs
