We're looking for Chemistry Specialists — Masters and PhD-level experts — to design, solve, and evaluate advanced chemistry problems that teach cutting‑edge AI models how to think like a scientist.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just rigorous scientific expertise and a sharp eye for quality.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and solve advanced chemistry problems spanning organic, inorganic, physical, and computational chemistry
  • Design complex, real‑world problem statements that challenge and train AI reasoning capabilities
  • Review AI‑generated chemistry content for scientific accuracy, depth, and rigor
  • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to improve model performance
  • Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of scientific clarity and precision
  • Work independently on task‑based assignments — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
  • Master's or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field
  • Deep expertise in one or more areas: organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
  • Comfortable applying your knowledge to design and solve challenging, nuanced problems
  • Strong written communicator who can explain complex concepts clearly and precisely
  • Detail‑oriented with a systematic, rigorous approach to scientific work
  • Experience coding in Python or working with computational chemistry tools (e.g., Gaussian, VASP)
Nice to Have
  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or AI evaluation workflows
  • Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts as they apply to scientific reasoning
  • Background in scientific writing, peer review, or academic publishing
  • Experience designing problem sets, exams, or educational materials at an advanced level
