Post Doctoral Scholar - Surgery
Post Doctoral Scholar to pursue specialized research training, education and experience under the guidance of Dr. Laura Kresty, PhD in the Department of Surgery, Comprehensive Cancer Center; plans, designs and executes experiments of considerable scope and complexity targeting the interception of thoracic malignancies; collects and analyzes data for research sponsored by appropriate agencies and Institutions; identifies and selects problems to be studied;
develops and troubleshoots new experimental techniques and protocols; attends research seminars; contributes to manuscript preparation and supports technical writing; participates in preparation of grant applications for extramural funding; performs additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Biological Sciences required;
Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
