Job Title

Post-doctoral Scholar-Medical Oncology Department:
Medicine | IM

Scope / Summary

Post Doctoral Scholar to pursue specialized research training and experience under the guidance of a scientific mentor; designs and analyzes choice experiment data; analyzes observational survey data; participates in analyzing data for reports for the purpose of grants submissions; participates in group meeting; writes manuscripts and publications; and present research findings in scientific meetings.

Essential Duties
  • Conducts research to evaluate the impact of policies on substance use.
  • Develops, adopts and implements choice experiments to examine policies; analyzes experiment and survey data; presents research findings in scientific meetings.
  • Participates in analyzing data for reports for the purpose of grants submissions; publishes manuscripts.
Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in health or behavioral economics, health policy, public health, psychology, communication, or other relevant area. Experience with conjoint analysis (e.g., discrete choice experiments and best-worst scaling), experience with large scale survey and retail data, portfolio in substance use or other health-related areas, and excellent writing skills are preferred.
