Responsibilities- Conduct experiments related to one or more laboratory projects, including processing and analyzing experimental results.
- Maintain laboratory cell culture facility, including routine passage of human cancer cell lines.
- Design and conduct biochemical and cellular pharmacological experiments to assess activity of newly synthesized compounds as inhibitors of bacterial and human type 2 Topoisomerases.
- Maintain laboratory notebooks and electronic files.
- Compile laboratory results and summarize them in final figures, tables, and graphs using commercial software.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED. 1 year of relevant experience required.
Desired ExperienceA Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate biological/health science or an equivalent combination of education and experience is highly desired. Undergraduate research experience and/or work related experience of 1 year or less.
Pay RangeThe pay range for this job profile is $15.86/hour - $20.74/hour. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications. This position is paid hourly.
