The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a dynamic and accomplished researcher to join our esteemed faculty. The successful candidate will have a robust track record in cardiovascular research. In addition to research responsibilities, the role involves active engagement in teaching and mentoring. The candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of cardiovascular specialists through lectures, seminars, and hands‑on training. This position also includes opportunities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, engineers, and basic scientists.

• Write and publish research in high‑quality, peer‑reviewed scientific journals.
• Attend and present research at national and international scientific conferences.
• Develop a national and international scholarly reputation.
• Instruct and mentor junior scientists, doctoral and postdoctoral students, medical students, residents, and fellow trainees.
• Participate in department, college, and university committees and initiatives.
• Conceptualize, plan, design, implement, and conduct research studies in the area of cardiovascular medicine.
• Develop and write grant proposals to seek and obtain funding to support the research program.
• Obtain and maintain NIH R01 or equivalent funding.
