This is not a stepping-stone role — it’s a place for a barista who wants to work in a structured, professional environment where standards matter.

🔧About the Role

This is a full-time position for an experienced barista who can confidently own the machine during peak service. This role requires experience, confidence, and strong technical ability. Based in New Lynn, this role is well suited to West Auckland locals or those who value working closer to home rather than commuting into the CBD.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering consistently excellent coffee to Columbus standards
• Dialling in, adjust grind, and maintain extraction quality throughout service
• Managing workflow calmly during high-volume trade
• Engaging customers with warmth and professionalism
• Support front-of-house to ensure seamless service

🎯What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who is genuinely skilled — not just trained. If you’re still learning the basics, this won’t be the right fit. We’re looking for someone already operating at a high level.

• Strong understanding of grind adjustment, milk texturing, and consistency
• Excellent customer engagement — professional, warm, and calm
• High attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Ability to maintain speed without compromising quality
• Reliability, consistency, and a strong work ethic
• Availability across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays (roster-based)
• Based locally in West Auckland
