Position OverviewTailored Events is seeking a driven and professional Events Retail Sales Associate to support and execute retail-based promotional campaigns in high‑traffic locations throughout the Columbus area.
This role combines event coordination support with consultative sales execution. The ideal candidate is comfortable engaging with customers directly, thrives in fast‑paced retail environments, and is motivated by performance goals and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the setup, breakdown, and coordination of in‑store promotional events
- Execute client marketing campaigns according to brand and compliance standards
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to educate customers
- Engage prospective customers through face‑to‑face conversations
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Drive sales performance to meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets
- Accurately track customer interactions, leads, and sales activity
- Maintain professional visual merchandising and promotional displays
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to optimize campaign performance
- Provide feedback to management regarding customer trends and campaign results
- 1 year of experience in retail sales, hospitality, customer service, or event marketing preferred
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance-based metrics
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
