$11.00 to $14.00 per hour

Commission structure pays you for every transaction you process.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire store staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers, processes sales, loans, and other transactions, and assists with customer inquiries and problem resolution. Associates work with a wide variety of merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Pay is based on location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintains clean, stocked sales floor and display of merchandise.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practice, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items per established policies.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Successfully completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient in basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as needed.
• Must work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate Point‑Of‑Sale (POS) systems and common office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers can earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Details are provided during the interview process.
