$11.00 to $14.00 per hour. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.79 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, part‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. A Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The associate will work with a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

Compensation includes an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintaining the display of merchandise.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Successfully completes the assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods of time, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist a customer outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate Point‑of‑Sale (POS) systems and common office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission, based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Applicants receive more details during the interview process.
