Salary Range: $17.00 per hour

The hourly rate is a fixed entry rate for this position and applies to all new hires. While a pay range may be displayed in the system, this role’s starting rate is non‑negotiable. Future pay increases are determined by performance, growth, and time in role, in accordance with the company’s compensation policy.

From offering a warm welcome to helping monitor safety and store standards, you’ll play a key role in creating a seamless, secure, and friendly in‑store experience.

What

Does a Guest Experience Host Do?
  • Deliver Hospitality‑Level Service:
    Go beyond expectations to ensure every guest feels valued, respected, and supported.
  • Create a Welcoming Vibe:
    Ensure every visit starts and ends on a high note by offering assistance, answering questions, and setting a friendly, professional tone.
  • Support Customer & Team Needs:
    Assist guests with way finding, field inquiries, and surface feedback or concerns to store leadership, and be a go‑to source for in‑the‑moment support.
  • Tackle Admin Tasks with Care:
    Answer store phones, check voicemails, help with device check‑ins, and support internal communication needs; document and escalate security or safety incidents with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Enhance Asset Protection Awareness:
    Observe store activity and flag behaviors that may indicate policy violations, theft, or safety risks; work closely with the Asset Protection team.
  • Uphold Safety Standards:
    Conduct routine safety walks, monitor for potential hazards, and respond promptly to safety incidents.
  • Oversee Security & Access:
    Manage check‑in procedures for associates and visitors, monitor security desk operations, and use store cameras to oversee key entry and exit points.
  • Operate as “One Team”:
    Support store goals by cross‑training across key store functions, including sales and back‑of‑house operations; be flexible during peak periods.

  • Strong Communication

    Skills:

    Communicate clearly and professionally in person and in writing, adjusting tone as needed for guests, associates, and leaders.
  • Situational Awareness:
    Be observant, tactful, and able to recognize when something is “off” and to respond with care and confidence.
  • Tech‑Savviness:
    Comfortable using Google Suite tools such as Gmail, Sheets, and Forms, and willing to learn new systems.
  • Dependable Flexibility:
    Available for a retail schedule that includes mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; show up on time and bring your A‑game to every shift.
  • Hospitality Mindset:
    Background in hospitality or high‑end service environments is a plus; bring warmth, attentiveness, and a solutions‑focused attitude.
Additional Physical And Environmental Requirements
  • Physical Activity:
    Frequent standing, walking, reaching, occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, and crawling.
  • Mobility & Movement:
    Frequent stooping, kneeling, and crouching throughout the day.
  • Lifting Ability:
    Lift and move up to 50 lbs independently on a regular basis; heavier items may require assistance or equipment.
  • Vision Requirements:
    Include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision; depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Temperature Flexibility:
    Comfortable in environments with varying temperature conditions.
  • Noise Tolerance:
    Occasional exposure to moderate noise levels and physical activity.
  • Safety Awareness:
    Minimal exposure to workplace or environmental hazards; adhere to all safety protocols.
