Position: The North Face: Assistant Store Manager - Easton Town Center

Assistant Store Manager

As the Assistant Store Manager, you will lead, develop, and motivate a team of brand advocates, ensuring a consistent best‑in‑class customer experience aligned with our brand purpose and values.

Responsibilities
  • Coach and develop staff to exceed individual and store productivity goals.
  • Promote excellence in customer service by modeling brand‑specific service standards, monitoring and responding to customer feedback, and ensuring the team engages with each customer to create an authentic brand experience.
  • Supervise floor coverage and activities, including opening and closing the store as scheduled.
  • Provide training and ongoing development of store staff in customer engagement and all company programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Support the Store Manager in achieving all financial and operational objectives including expense control, loss prevention, store audits, and weekly reports.
  • Assist in the selection and hiring of qualified candidates.
  • Implement visual merchandising directives and maintain brand standards on the sales floor.
  • Ensure compliance with loss prevention and safety policies and procedures.
  • Model inclusive behavior and uphold VF Corporation values.
  • Encourage a culture of participation, creativity, and learning by sharing best practices.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of store leadership experience in a fast‑paced retail environment.
  • Flexible schedule availability – weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales results and business goals.
  • Excellent decision‑making, detail orientation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, software programs).
  • Preferred:
    Experience leading a team of 20+ associates, specialty retail or outdoor apparel experience.
  • Associate Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school.
  • Physical ability to operate office equipment, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and use ladders for visual merchandising.
Benefits & Compensation

Hiring Range: $20.00–$27.30 per hour.

Incentive Potential:
Eligible for annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
