Position: Store Manager 07156

Compensation Pay Range: $0.00 – $0.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may be paid in annual, quarterly performance bonuses or premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Maximize sales by directing team members to provide prompt, courteous, and professional customer service.
  • Solve customer needs, solicit orders, sell company products, and represent the company in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain and grow the customer base, increase sales volume at assigned accounts, and secure market share through stocking, daily needs, and equipment sales.
  • Coordinate sales call efforts with the Territory Sales Manager and supervise all store team members.
  • Recruit, test, hire, evaluate, promote, discipline, and discharge team members under supervision in collaboration with the District Manager.
  • Develop and post work schedules based on sales and payroll forecasting, and review team member timecards for accuracy.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of team members’ skills through company training on policies, procedures, customer service, computer operations, catalogs, sales, and safety.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Pricing Departments to establish pricing levels for professional customers and maximize gross profit on outside purchases.
  • Monitor and enforce non‑competitive price overrides, price matches, and overall profitability, eliminating discounting abuse.
  • Ensure the store is organized, operates per company policies, and implements planogram changes and merchandising plans.
  • Provide Inventory Control with accurate stock adjustment recaps and handle daily store accounting functions (sales reports, bank deposits, cash drawers, check processing).
  • Manage charge accounts, address past‑due situations, and communicate with the Territory Sales Manager and credit department.
  • Implement loss prevention procedures, covering billing, cash refund, credit and stock transfer, warranty, key control, shoplifting, and core procedures.
  • Maintain store vehicles, conduct inspections, and report property or building needs via MARS or the District Manager.
  • Attend the Annual Manager’s Conference and perform any other duties as assigned.
SKILLS / EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / ABILITIES
  • Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, Manager Development Program module.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time‑management skills.
  • Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment, and systems.
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired) is preferred.
  • Certified Parts Professional Certification and ASE certification are desired.
