The Manager, Store in Store is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Wyoming, MI. This role oversees daily operations within a T‑Mobile store located inside a partner retail environment, ensuring consistent execution of brand standards, merchandising, and store presentation. The manager leads, coaches, and motivates a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maximize sales, and achieve performance goals. Responsibilities include managing staffing and scheduling, training team members on products and systems, and driving operational excellence and compliance.
The role also partners with host store leadership to align on shared objectives, optimize traffic and promotions, and maintain a collaborative, inclusive work environment.
- Strong customer‑facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on creating positive, solutions‑oriented experiences.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Proven Store Management experience in a retail environment, including team leadership, performance management, scheduling, merchandising, and sales execution.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including cash handling controls, inventory management, and adherence to security and compliance policies.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets, analyze performance metrics, and adjust strategies to drive results.
- Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional partners and host store personnel while representing T‑Mobile’s brand and values.
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment with changing priorities and new initiatives.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education in business, retail management, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous wireless or consumer electronics retail experience is beneficial.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
