Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Retail & Store Manager, Retail Sales
Compensation Pay Range: $10.70 - $16.70. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Responsibilities- Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
- Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution on customer service programs such as Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.
- Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
- Ensure buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders are processed promptly and customers are contacted upon shipment arrivals.
- Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure, using the electronic outside purchase order ledger.
- Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friendly, issue refunds accurately using correct payment methods, and process or stage returned merchandise in the returns area correctly.
- Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
- Communicate Zipline messages and delegate and complete Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
- Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedule; changes/deviations approved by management; clock in/out per company policy.
- Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day‑end procedures, verify and secure money/deposits, prepare bank deposits, ensure night security lights are on, lock doors, arm/disarm security alarms, and secure delivery vehicles.
- Assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Required: Strong communication skills.
- Required: Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
- Desired: Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
- Desired: Knowledge of automotive systems and repair.
- Desired: ASE Certification.
- Desired: Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
