Role Summary
Join the LEGO Brand Retail team as a part-time Team Leader at Easton Town Center in Columbus, Ohio and be a role model as you provide a brand experience for our customers. This part-time Team Leader will provide training to enhance the team’s ability to exceed our high standards of customer service, product knowledge and sales.
Core Responsibilities- Assist the ASM and SM in maintaining holiday, attendance, and team scheduling
- Effectively supervise Sales Associates during the shift, dealing with potential issues appropriately and in line with LEGO policies and procedures, with the ASM and SM's support
- Complete orders for store and office supplies in line with guidelines and operating budgets
- Ensure money handling procedures are followed by all Sales Associates
- Maintain a well-organized stockroom at all times and ensure all available products are merchandised on the shop floor and loss prevention targets are achieved
- Assist the ASM and SM in achieving a high standard of merchandise presentation following store guidelines
- Leadership and/or management experience in a retail store environment
- Experience delivering employee training
- Cash handling and inventory/sales auditing
- Proficiency with point of sale automated systems
- Merchandise maintenance and visual merchandising expertise
- Physical fitness to perform moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours; ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, lift at least 30 lbs and has close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Availability to work up to 30 hours per week covering the full week and weekend with a minimum of 4 days
