Overview

Sales Lead (Key Holder) position at Jockey in Columbus, OH. The role provides excellent customer service following Jockey's service principles, supports achievement of store goals, maximizes sales, and assists with opening and closing the store.

• Demonstrate behavior that reflects Jockey's core values and culture.
• Establish positive relationships with co-workers and guests, ensuring high productivity and inclusiveness in achieving satisfaction goals.
• Provide feedback, coaching and direction to the store team.
• Provide a warm, sincere greeting to all guests, including current promotional messaging and suggestive selling.
• Engage all guests to identify their needs and use product knowledge to offer solutions.
• Promote company programs (e.g., Rewards participation, satisfaction guarantee).
• Promote awareness and excitement to grow Jockey Rewards membership.
• Assist in driving all aspects of store-level sales, goals and profitability.
• Perform sales and register transactions including ringing purchases and processing payments.
• Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of Store Management, including opening and closing the store in accordance with Jockey's policies.
• Assist with merchandising (stock, markdowns, visuals) in adherence to visual standards.
• Protect the security of cash, inventory and other company assets.
• Ensure adherence to all Jockey policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Support hiring and recruiting efforts.
• Other job duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

• 1 year of management experience.
• Three years of retail or customer service experience with a proven ability to demonstrate a passion for extraordinary guest service and sales.

• Ability to move 25 pounds.
• Ability to maneuver around sales floor and stockroom, repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and ascending/descending ladders to stock and merchandise store.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning chemicals.
