Traveling Retail Merchandiser

The Retail Odyssey Company is seeking a Traveling Retail Merchandiser to support Retail Operations for leading CPG brands and major retailers. In this field-based role, you will visit multiple stores to execute planograms, set and reset displays, maintain shelf standards, and ensure signage and promotions are accurately implemented. You'll collect in-store data, communicate with store teams, and help optimize shelf performance and shopper experience.

This role is ideal for detail-oriented self-starters who enjoy a fast-paced, collaborative environment, on-the-go work, and building strong retail partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned retail stores to execute merchandising programs and resets
• Implement and maintain planograms, displays, signage, and promotional sets
• Ensure shelves are stocked, tagged, and visually appealing to shoppers
• Capture in-store data, photos, and reports via mobile tools for analytics
• Communicate with store personnel and Retail Odyssey leads on priorities and issues
• Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and address out-of-stocks
• Support new product launches and seasonal or promotional sets
• Maintain company standards for branding, safety, and in-store execution quality
