Position: Shop Design Specialist I

What you'll be doing day to day

  • 2 years of retail visual merchandising or similar.
  • Proficient in Revit or AutoCAD, or similar software.
  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • Implements and innovates upon store layout plan in order to best present the product range.
  • Maintains an organized and visually appealing environment for our customers.
  • Creates and maintains visual displays.
  • Devises, implements and executes effective merchandising strategies.
  • Utilizes space planning tools to ensure simplicity, cost-effectiveness and efficiency in store design.
  • Implement department action plan to grow the business and increase profitability.
  • Uses creative approach to solve home furnishing challenges that exist in the local market.
  • Remains up-to-date and knowledgeable about current home furnishing and interior design trends.
  • Secures an impression of new and inspiring solutions to meet the demands of our customers.

  • We are looking for a candidate with strong visual composition skills, meticulous organization and knowledge of Revit. The regular hours for the position are from 7:00am-3:30pm M-F, with additional availability needed during peak times.
  • The pay range for this role is $ 19.96- 28 based on Ikea equivalent years of experience
