A leading specialty retail and consumer products brand is seeking a detail-oriented Merchandise Coordinator to support category strategies that drive business growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for merchandising, product development, and retail operations who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The Merchandise Coordinator will support product lifecycle activities, maintain critical product data, manage samples, and partner cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of merchandising initiatives.

September 2026 - January 2027 - Pay Rate: $22.85/hour
- Maintain accurate product information, SKUs, attributes, and key milestones within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
- Ensure product data is complete, accurate, and updated according to established timelines and governance standards.
- Partner with Merchandising, Product Development, Planning, Sourcing, and Marketing teams to manage product updates and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate sample management, including receiving, organizing, storing, tracking, and preparing samples for meetings and presentations.
- Support key merchandising meetings through sample setup, product rankings, presentation preparation, and ad hoc requests.
- Conduct competitive research on assortment strategies, pricing, and promotional activity across the retail landscape.
- Assist with seasonal assortment planning and updates throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support SKU setup, item costing, pack-out information, and product maintenance activities.
- Partner with Visual Merchandising, Space Planning, and Allocation teams to execute floorset and visual updates.
- 1-3 years of experience in merchandising, buying, retail, product development, brand development, or a related field.
- Internship experience will be considered.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for product and customer experience.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently while taking ownership of responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with SKU management, product data management, or merchandising systems preferred.
- Experience with Centric PLM, or the ability to learn new systems quickly, is a plus.
- Experience supporting merchandising operations or product lifecycle processes.
- Background in sample management and product tracking.
- Strong attention to detail when managing product information and SKUs.
- Comfortable asking questions, taking initiative, and owning work independently.
- Adaptable and eager to learn in a dynamic retail environment.
