Adecco Creative & Marketing is hiring an Associate Merchandiser for a leading fashion retail brand. This role is ideal for an analytical and detail-oriented merchandising professional who enjoys combining data, customer insights, and cross-functional collaboration to drive product strategies and business results.
Key Responsibilities Business Management- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reporting for Merchandising and Planning teams.
- Analyze product performance across stores, eCommerce, and social channels to identify trends and make actionable recommendations.
- Develop product rankings, hindsight reporting, and seasonal business recaps.
- Support Merchants in responding to current business trends and opportunities.
- Partner with Planning, Design, Product Development, and other teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of key deliverables.
- Coordinate meeting notes and communications for merchant-led business meetings.
- Maintain data integrity through purchase order management, on-order reporting, and system updates.
- Ensure accurate communication of product information across cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising on floor set strategies to achieve style representation, volume goals, and fashion objectives.
- Support the creation of product education materials and event tools for Store Operations.
- Partner with Merchandising Operations, Allocation, and Planning teams to maintain accurate product data and support monthly floor set meetings.
- Create and maintain assortment planning tools, including vendor projections, attribute reporting, choice counts, and assortment tracking documents.
- Support promotional strategies, flow orders, color/size buys, and inventory planning decisions.
- Coordinate ordering, tracking, and organization of all product samples.
- Manage product sample distribution for internal stakeholders, PR, Marketing, eCommerce, and outfit guide submissions.
- Prepare and execute seasonal product turn-ins and sample requests.
- Monitor competitors and fashion leaders to identify emerging trends, pricing strategies, promotional activity, and assortment opportunities.
- Gather insights from stores, customer interactions, and market trends to help inform future product decisions.
- Serve as an advocate for the customer by identifying evolving needs and preferences.
- 1-2 years of merchandising experience within a fashion retail environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with Micro Strategy and FlexPLM is a plus.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
