Overview
As an Account Development Manager
, you will grow new sales through assigned Pittsburgh Paints Company stores, growing both existing business year-over-year and developing new accounts within the commercial segment. You will report to the Regional Manager and work in the field based in the Columbus, OH market.
- Ensure outstanding customer service is provided to existing customer accounts by staying up to date with current promotions, new products, and current customer service practices to identify opportunities for growth.
- Develop account planning strategies, sales opportunities, accounts with growth potential, and understand existing business and the segments they serve.
- Use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to manage accounts, maintain call logs and contact information, run reports, and related tasks.
- Collaborate with store managers and employees to ensure customers needs are met or exceeded.
- Prepare and provide accurate customer quotes to achieve margin targets in alignment with pricing strategies.
- High school diploma required with 3+ years of sales experience with strong customer service skills; higher-level education in a business-related field is a plus.
- CRM software experience is preferred; prior coatings experience is highly valued.
- Daily travel within the assigned territory; must possess a valid driver s license.
