Sales Representative

Abacus is looking to hire a Sales Representative in the Columbus, OH area.

• Calling on established customers.
• Prospect and add new customers.
• Analyze territory and potential growth.
• Cultivate long-term relationships that will lead to increased sales.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant work or military experience
• 1+ year of sales experience
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license & acceptable MVR
• Willingness to travel and spend at least 2 nights a week away from home.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years route-based sales and service experience
• Ability to work independently with little direction as a self-starter
• Demonstrated resiliency, persuasiveness & ability to deliver results
• Strong relationship management capability & consulting skills
• Effective oral & written communication skills, strong problem-solving skills
• Self-starter with the ability to consistently work independently for extended periods of time
