Position: Business Development Partner (CPA Preferred)

True Axis is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Business Development Partner to drive client acquisition and expand our presence in the U.S. market. This is a target-based, performance-driven role ideal for professionals who thrive on relationship-building and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, approach, and onboard new clients (CPA firms, accounting firms, advisory firms, SMEs, startups, etc.).
  • Conduct daily in-person visits to prospective client offices to pitch True Axis services and build relationships.
  • Develop and maintain a strong local pipeline through field visits, networking events, and referrals.
  • Lead client discussions, proposal presentations, and commercial negotiations.
  • Coordinate internally with delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service alignment.
  • Drive deal closure and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Achieve agreed revenue and acquisition targets on a monthly/quarterly basis.
Eligibility & Qualifications
  • CPA (preferred) or strong background in accounting, finance, advisory, or professional services.
  • Proven experience in business development, field sales, or client acquisition.
  • Comfortable with daily field visits and face-to-face pitching.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, taxation, advisory, or outsourced finance services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Nature of Role
  • Location Focus:
    United States (Primary focus: Ohio and Midwest region)
  • Requires regular travel within assigned territory for client meetings.
Compensation Structure (Performance-Based)
  • This is a target-based role.
  • Revenue generated
  • Compensation will be structured as a pre-agreed royalty percentage on billing generated from acquired clients.
  • No fixed salary. Earnings are directly proportional to performance and closed deals.
