Senior Sales Representative

As a Senior Spine Sales Representative
, you will represent a full portfolio of innovative spine technologies, manage key accounts, and provide expert surgical support while executing strategic territory plans to grow market share and revenue.
- Make sales calls to customers and prospects with a particular focus on orthopedic and neuro spine surgeons.
- Responsible for the sales growth and development of a geographic area through generating leads, recruiting new surgeons, qualifyingprospectsand strategic business planning.
- Develop and execute corporate sales and marketing strategies.
- Meet or exceed territory sales objectives for each product category and in target accounts;meet or exceed territory market share objectives.
- Establish andmaintainstrong business relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Surgical case preparation and coverageisrequiredwith the goal of bringing the highest degree of value to the surgeon,patient and facility.
- Maintain expert knowledge in Spine product, competitiveproductand current market;participate in continuing education programs.
- Collect Purchase Orders from assigned accounts in a timely manner and no later than the end of each selling month.
- Provide regular monthly and timely feedback on a variety of topics including sales performance/penetration, market feedback, competitive activities, new target accounts, ideas regarding sales growth and new product development opportunities.
- Manage andmaintaina sample inventory of products.
- Move consignment and loaner inventory between accounts based on the surgical needs of the territory and region.
- Provide high quality “on call”serviceto existing customers.
- Provide “in service” training and other customer education in support of new product launches andin an effort to increase clinical knowledge of Spine products/programs.
- Continue to grow and develop clinical competency in spinal anatomy, imagingmodalitiesandexpertisein
VBSpine products. - Respond to customer complaints in accordance with company policy and advise Sales Manager and company promptly of any situation beyond scope of authority.
- High School Diploma or equivalent,required.
- Bachelor’s Degree from a4 year accredited college or university, preferred.
- 4 years successful sales experience (prefer medical device sales) or 2 yearsdemonstratedsuccess in a sales role (must be within medical device).
- Must be able to lift and carry samples and surgicalinstrumentskits up to 40 pounds.
- Must be available on24-hour per day basis, to respond to customer emergencies as dictated by territory andaccountrequirements.
- Travel required within Territory, in support of other Territories within the Region, and to national/area sales meetings and conventions.
- This position requires the handling of instruments that may have been contaminated by blood or other bodily fluids.

Compensation:Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, with additional factors like territory requirements, qualifications, and performance taken into account. The typical pay range for this position is $90,000 – $300,000 annually, with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits.
VB Spine reserves the right to offer compensation outside of this listed range. Final compensation is determined on a case‑by‑case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
