Senior Business Development Executive - Asset Lifecycle Management & Data Center Decommissioning

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills while clearly articulating the value of Iron Mountain's offerings.
  • Act as a self-starter with a results-oriented approach, capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines effectively.
  • Leverage Salesforce for managing sales pipelines, tracking performance, and reporting progress.
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to address customer challenges.
New Business Development
  • Identify and engage new contacts seeking to decommission legacy data center hardware, migrate to the cloud, or securely dispose of IT assets.
  • Drive new revenue opportunities by tailoring Iron Mountain ALM solutions to meet customer needs, focusing on secure reuse, data destruction, recycling, and cloud migration.
  • Forge strong relationships with key decision-makers (C‑suite, IT, Procurement, and Compliance teams), understanding their pain points and proposing effective solutions.
  • Employ strong interpersonal skills to influence senior decision-makers, including C‑level executives.
Solution Sales & Revenue Growth
  • Develop detailed proposals and negotiate contracts, collaborating closely with legal and operations teams to ensure fulfillment of all terms.
  • Work with existing customers to explore new business lines that align with their specific needs for secure asset management, cloud migration, and sustainable decommissioning.
  • Utilize Iron Mountain's comprehensive service offerings, including compliance and data security solutions, to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Meet and surpass monthly and quarterly sales goals through new business acquisition and growth within existing accounts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in selling IT asset disposition (ITAD) services, data destruction, or cloud migration solutions.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards, such as GDPR and environmental regulations surrounding IT equipment recycling and disposal.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary (approximately 25% of the time).

The expected salary range for this position is $ - $ plus commissions.
