Business Development, Client Relationship Manager
Director, New Business Development – Central Ohio Role
Drive new client acquisition by selling G2O’s full suite of services.
LocationCentral Ohio (must live and work in the region)

We are seeking a proven business developer to grow new accounts. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle: identifying prospects, diagnosing business challenges, and positioning G2O’s unique value across People Solutions (staffing/teams) and Consulting Solutions (data, tech, CX). This role is for a strategic seller who can engage at the executive level, build trusted relationships, and drive revenue by matching client needs with our capabilities and team of experts.
KeyAccountabilities
- Pipeline & Revenue Growth: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline. Meet and exceed quarterly/annual revenue targets by acquiring new logos.
- Strategic Prospecting: Identify, research, and engage senior-level prospects. Understand their organizational pain points and strategic goals.
- Solution Selling: Articulate G2O’s value across service lines. Tailor proposals that may include:
People: Providing skilled talent and team augmentation.
Solutions: Delivering projects in data & analytics, technology, and CX transformation.
Combined Engagements: Crafting blended solutions that address both capability and capacity needs. - Relationship Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to clients. Own the relationship from first contact through deal close. Collaborate with Client Services from initial client onboarding to account growth.

Partner with solution and delivery leads to design compelling, feasible proposals that ensure client success.
- A documented track record of selling consulting and/or staffing services
. - Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Specific experience in one or more of our core domains:
Data & Analytics, Technology, or Customer Experience (CX). - The ability to have discovery conversations about business challenges, not just service features.
- Proven success in managing complex B2B sales cycles and closing deals.
- The skill to build relationships with directors, VPs, and C-suite executives.
- A hunter mentality: self-motivated, resilient, and focused on new business.
- 5+ years in a business development within professional services, consulting, or strategic staffing
. - Experience selling to mid-market and enterprise clients.
- Experience using a CRM to manage pipeline.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Sell a differentiated, full-service portfolio with 40 years of Ohio roots.
- Competitive compensation (base salary + uncapped commission/bonus).
