We’re looking for a dedicated and motivated Account Manager (Outside Sales Representative) to join our team and drive business growth by providing exceptional service to our customers.
What You’ll Do:As an Outside Sales Representative you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining existing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. You will focus on a wide variety of products including Industrial, Commercial, and Residential. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Conduct in‑person meetings with prospective and existing customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
- Present, promote, and educate customers on products and provide innovative solutions.
- Partner with inside sales, warehouse, and delivery teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and other industry functions.
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the electrical distribution or related industry.
- Knowledge of Industrial, Commercial, or Residential sales preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for building customer relationships.
- Self‑motivated and results‑driven attitude with the ability to work independently.
- Exceptional problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
