Job Summary
Nationwide Financial is seeking a dedicated associate to build and maintain relationships with investment professionals and plan sponsors, ensuring exceptional client service and meeting sales goals within a hybrid Success Flex arrangement.
Reporting RelationshipsReports to Manager. No direct reports.
CoreJob Duties & Responsibilities
- Proactively contact targeted business partners daily to build relationships, understand needs and advise on suitable products and services.
- Build and grow strategic partnerships to meet territory performance requirements.
- Profile and assess viability of business partners regarding customer and business needs.
- Respond to partner requests and provide support materials such as illustrations, proposals, and product/rider information.
- Assist with case design, business consultations, product updates, training, rollouts, and point‑of‑sale consulting.
- Execute proactive contacts in support of campaigns highlighting product features and benefits, and advise on sales ideas and solutions.
- Collaborate with external sales force to consult with partners via calls, e‑seminars, branch trainings, and one‑on‑one meetings.
- Engage partners to retain business with Nationwide, addressing asset flight reasons and providing retention solutions.
- Learn resources for partner relationship and territory management.
- Achieve scorecard requirements (contact minimums, call quality, record‑keeping, planning, sales execution, and territory management) and Living the Nationwide Values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Education:
Undergraduate degree in Human Ecology, Business, Finance, Communications, Marketing or related field preferred. - License: FINRA Series 6 required at all times;
Series 7 or 62 may be required. Must obtain required federal and state licences within the specified timeframe. - Experience:
1–2 years in a sales‑driven position, preferably in a sales or service call center and financial services background. - Knowledge:
Fundamental knowledge of insurance and financial products and consultative sales processes. - Skills &

Location:
Hybrid Success Flex. Must reside within 35 miles of Grandview Heights, OH or Scottsdale, AZ.
Schedule:
2‑3 days in office, 2‑3 days remote (location dependent).
Licensing: FINRA SIE and Series 6 required at application;
Series 63 within 120 days of start date. No employer‑sponsored work authorization.
