Account Executive - Commercial Snow & Ice Management

About the Role

The Account Executive is a field-based role responsible for generating new business opportunities, growing existing client relationships, and driving revenue growth throughout an assigned territory. This position focuses on developing strategic relationships with decision-makers in distribution, industrial and critical infrastructure sectors that require large-scale snow and ice management services.

The Account Executive owns the customer relationship from prospecting through contract execution and ongoing account management. While the Operations Team is responsible for service delivery and fulfillment, the Account Executive remains the primary client relationship contact and is responsible for customer satisfaction, account growth, contract renewals, and long-term retention.

During winter weather events, the Account Executive serves as a key customer communication resource, ensuring clients receive timely updates and exceptional service support.

What You Will Do
  • Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold outreach, and strategic relationship development.
  • Build and maintain relationships with facility managers, property managers, operations leaders, supply chain executives, and senior decision-makers.
  • Conduct site visits, presentations, proposal reviews, and contract negotiations with prospective clients.
  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts with a focus on customer satisfaction, retention, contract renewals, and account expansion.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Estimating teams to develop customized service solutions and pricing strategies.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and account records within Salesforce CRM.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events and client functions.
  • Participate in customer onboarding and account transition activities to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Support customer communication before, during, and after snow and ice events.
  • Coordinate with Operations to address customer concerns and ensure service expectations are met.
  • Monitor account profitability and assist with pricing reviews, renewals, and growth opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the company's service offerings, target markets, and competitive landscape.
What You Will Need
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful B2B outside sales or consultative sales experience with a proven track record of generating new business and growing existing accounts.
  • Demonstrated success selling service-based solutions and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution and renewal.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level decision-makers, including Facility Managers, Property Managers, Directors of Operations, Supply Chain Leaders, and C-suite executives.
  • Experience managing a sales territory, developing account plans, and executing growth strategies to achieve or exceed revenue goals.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasts, and account activity through Salesforce CRM or similar customer relationship management platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities, customer relationships, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with operations and leadership teams.
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company underwriting standards.
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory as required.
