As a Business Development Manager within PNC’s Financial Wellness Solutions, you will be primarily based in Columbus, OH. PNC Financial Wellness Solutions offers a comprehensive suite of solutions to meet the needs of various businesses and their employees. In this role you will work directly with clients to develop and drive a financial wellness program aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

Job Description

The Business Development Manager focuses on acquiring new clients across financial wellness solutions, growing sales, revenue and market share, and maintaining client relationships with a consultative sales approach.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing innovative solutions such as health and benefit accounts, student debt solutions, earned wage access, and other financial wellness offerings.
  • Acquiring new business relationships and supporting the growth of a book of business through collaboration with client services teams and partners.
  • Handling origination, financial analysis, negotiation and documentation of non-credit products and services.
  • Managing risk/return and driving quality for new and existing clients while actively identifying and mitigating regulatory, reputational, and operational risks.
  • Offering ideas and insights based on an understanding of client needs and financial well‑being to increase engagement and loyalty.
  • Building an effective network of internal and external relationships, including community and industry connections, to expand and deepen the client experience.
  • Presenting the full range of PNC’s products and services to clients and leveraging reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities.
Qualifications

Required competencies are Business Acumen, Client Relationship Management, and effective communication. Education requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree (required). No required certification(s) or license(s).

Compensation

Base Salary: $63,750.00 – $ (may vary by location and experience). This role is incentive eligible with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
