Kyowa Kirin is a fast‑growing global specialty pharmaceutical company that uses state‑of‑the‑art biotechnologies to discover and deliver novel medicines across four therapeutic areas: bone and mineral disease, hematologic disease, oncology, and rare disease. The company is headquartered in Princeton, NJ, with additional offices in California, Massachusetts, and Ontario. Primary coverage areas include Columbus, Cleveland, Akron, Springfield, and Youngstown, OH. Candidates should reside within the territory and be willing to travel regularly to support customer engagement and business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Drive effective hospital system and account planning, management, and selling processes.
  • Lead account planning & management for target hospital systems, mapping patient flow and identifying key influencers.
  • Develop deep knowledge of oncology and dermatology centers within assigned regions, including stakeholder mapping.
  • Apply industry knowledge of market access, payer, and reimbursement environments within oncology and dermatology.
  • Support market‑access initiatives and provide analysis of product performance within accounts.
  • Educate referral networks on disease best practices and support multidisciplinary care for patients on Poteligeo.
  • Identify and track potential patients for follow‑up with HCPs and help convert to Poteligeo when appropriate.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal and external customers to implement business plans that drive formularies, protocols, and pathway additions.
  • Deliver formal and informal presentations, conveying complex scientific information fluently and compliantly.
  • Maintain strong compliance with regulatory and internal policies, including compliance with the MIR process.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience, including 3 years of account management.
  • Minimum 3 years experience within institutional, oncology, or rare disease sales.
  • Proven track record of sales success.
  • Strong understanding of the Buy & Bill & Market Access marketplace.
  • Strong therapeutic area/product knowledge.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Veeva.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, initiative, and ambition.
  • Valid US driver’s license.
  • Highly motivated with strong attention to detail and endurance to work under tight timelines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to present via PowerPoint to large groups.
  • Broad interpersonal skills, flexibility, cultural sensitivity, and ability to develop consensus in a multinational organization.
Physical Demands
  • Normal office environment with prolonged sitting and extensive computer work.
  • Extensive driving and occasional air travel with overnights in some territories.
  • Approximately 50% overnight travel depending on territory.
