Position: Medical Account Specialist II - NEUROLOGY - COLUMBUS, OH

Overview

Build Our Future Together. The Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) engages Neurology specialists and key stakeholders across diverse care settings within an assigned geography. The MS delivers clinically focused messaging to drive revenue and achieve product goals, demonstrating strong ownership, initiative, and compliant, integrity‑driven performance.

Responsibilities
  • Engage Rare Neurology experts and other key customers within an assigned geography and deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch products and grow brand share and revenue.
  • Partner with multiple collaboration stakeholders (e.g., Reimbursement and Access Specialists) to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics and trends, and develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives.
  • Develop strong working relationships with customers, collaboration colleagues and internal contacts—including clinics, physicians, nurses, patient advocacy groups, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Conduct rare neurology‑specific market profiling activities to understand regional healthcare delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
  • Deep‑knowledge of applicable customers and markets (prescribers, HCPs, institutions, organizations).
  • Strategic account selling and management: develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans to achieve objectives.
  • Ensure total account coverage, educating all personnel on commercially available Regeneron products.
  • Develop strategy and execute tactics within key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share.
  • Proactively identify business opportunities with assigned accounts and coordinate efforts by the Regeneron Rare Neurology account team, including supporting contracting pull‑through with accounts.
  • Gain deep knowledge of each assigned account through internal research and proactive integration of information from various stakeholders.
  • Participate in congresses, regional meetings, and other industry events to support sales success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree mandatory;
    Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years successful experience in Neurology sales and specialty/biologic/REMS products strongly preferred; launch experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years working with key thought leaders or high‑influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations with a focus on Neurology.
  • Proven success and positive track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments, operating with high integrity within compliance guidelines.
  • Results‑oriented with a proven track record of product‑launch success.
  • Strong account management experience with analytical, problem‑solving, and planning skills.
  • Current account management experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
  • Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and the current Neurology marketplace.
Salary

$158,950 - $220,000 annually.
