Position Overview

As an Account Manager within PNC’s Financial Wellness Solutions organization, you will be based in the Midwest Territory. This role is critical to long‑term client satisfaction, retention, and expansion.
Job ProfileYou will work directly with clients to design, implement, and advance financial wellness programs that align with their organizational goals. Your responsibilities include delivering innovative solutions such as health and benefit accounts, student debt solutions, earned wage access, and other financial wellness offerings through a consultative approach. You will grow relationships with new clients while strengthening and expanding partnerships with existing clients, collaborating closely with client services teams and internal partners.
This role requires regular travel within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain long‑term client relationships; provide sales or consultative support and serve as liaison between clients and operational servicing units.
- Identify and develop new servicing opportunities with existing clients, leveraging industry knowledge to inform customers of appropriate products, rates, and other opportunities.
- Participate in negotiating servicing agreements and fees, and work with in‑house counsel and clients on contract negotiations; review agreements to ensure compliance with servicing guidelines.
- Analyze, assess, and document client requirements; forecast and track key account metrics; identify customization needs and work with service partners to implement them.
- Manage processes outlined in the contract; resolve challenges regarding implementation and production issues; serve as an escalation point for high‑severity requests or issues.
Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for this role. Below are the key requirements:
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree (or comparable combination of education, certification, and experience). - Experience:
3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience in account management or related fields. - Preferred:
Experience deepening and expanding client relationships within professional services, manufacturing, healthcare, wholesale, or general services sectors. - Certifications:

Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
