Job Overview
The Account Manager II reports to the Sr. Sales Leader – Growth Driver and is responsible for technical water treatment problem‑solving and fundamentals to customer selling in the Portland, OR field sales team.
Key Responsibilities- Begin to troubleshoot technical and site‑specific process issues.
- Engage technical staff and management as needed to develop retention and growth strategies.
- Create, improve, and implement innovative sales strategies to drive Chem Treat’s position and increase share within the assigned geography.
- Develop key relationships with customers by identifying key decision makers within existing accounts, researching prospects, partnering with senior staff to cold‑call, performing frequent follow‑up, and learning strategic questioning to identify customer needs.
- Work with senior staff to increase sales and profit margin within the territory.
- Create effective proposals for current and prospective customers.
- Communicate the Chem Treat value proposition to the customer base.
- Bachelor of Science; engineering or technical degree preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in water treatment.
- Annual salary range: $75,000 – $100,000 USD.
