Insurance Sales Specialist

Overview

Insurance Sales Specialist. Located in Akron or Columbus, OH. Must be in office at least 4 times a week.

• Sell personal insurance products to individuals.
• Perform inbound and outbound calling to prospective clients.
• Develop and maintain business relationships with internal and external referral sources.
• Meet goals for volume of quality new business quoted and written within company guidelines.
• Maintain up-to‑date knowledge of products, services, technology, and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of sales and/or customer service experience.
• A valid Property and Casualty Insurance license, or obtain the license within 45 days of hire.

• Sales experience with proven ability to achieve sales expectations and meet high‑volume deadlines in a call‑center environment.
• A high‑energy and personable "over‑the‑phone" communication style.
• Ability to manage a high volume of customers in various sales and service stages.
• Experience working with complex products/processes.
• Computer experience with Microsoft Office Suite, comparative rater and carrier sites.

• Exempt Status:
  Not eligible for overtime pay.
• Workplace Type:
  Office.
