Territory Sales Representative
Euclid Fish Company – Family Owned Since 1944
Euclid Fish is a trusted, family‑owned company supplying premium seafood and specialty meats to chefs, restaurants, and food service partners. We’re growing and looking for a Territory Sales Representative located in Columbus, Ohio who is motivated to hit sales goals while building strong, lasting relationships with our customers.
What You’ll Do- Manage, grow, and develop accounts in your territory
- Drive sales by upselling, cross‑selling, and opening 3+ new accounts monthly
- Build trust through consistent communication and proactive problem solving
- Plan weekly schedules to maximize customer visits and service efficiency
- Present new products with samples and custom solutions for menu placements
- Partner with operations, purchasing, logistics, and marketing to ensure flawless execution
- Stay on top of industry trends and seasonal products to better serve your accounts
- Proven sales experience; food service, hospitality, or culinary background preferred
- Self‑motivated with strong time management and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communicator with professional presentation skills
- Organized and detail‑oriented, able to balance sales growth with customer care
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Plan & Execute Sales Strategy
:
Develop and follow a structured weekly road schedule to maximize customer visits, sales opportunities, and service efficiency. - Achieve Growth Targets
:
Align personal sales goals with company objectives; meet or exceed assigned sales budgets, open at least 3 new accounts monthly, and grow your territory by 5% annually. - Consultative Selling
:
Prepare for each client visit with deep knowledge of their needs; present new product offerings through samples, custom sell sheets, and tailored menu solutions. - Customer Care & Trust‑Building
:
Build relationships through consistent follow‑up via visits, calls, texts, and emails; ensure orders are accurate, timely, and communicated clearly. - Upsell & Cross‑Sell
:
Continuously introduce new product offerings across all categories to expand customer spend and menu adoption. - Operational Excellence
:
Work hand‑in‑hand with purchasing, processing, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth order flow and on‑time delivery. - Problem Solving
:
Address shortages, substitutions, and menu changes proactively—communicating solutions before issues impact the customer. - Collaboration & Engagement
:
Partner with marketing and customer service to identify opportunities, refine customer lists, and support promotions. - Industry Involvement
:
Represent Euclid Fish at industry functions, seasonal events, and company open houses; share feedback and insights through regular reporting. - Professional Development
:
Stay current on seafood and meat industry trends, seasonal product availability, and competitive offerings to better serve your accounts.

- Bachelor’s Degree in sales/marketing or related degree or equivalent experience
- Time management skills
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to self‑motivate and overcome the ups and downs of sales
- Sales Management experience
- Experience in the food industry
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to accurately complete administrative duties
- Must be self‑directed, able to work independently
- Strong communication skills and professional self‑presentation
