Accounting and Finance Business Development Manager

Overview

This role at Vaco focuses on generating sales, increasing revenue and profitability. The position requires establishing and developing client relationships and collaborating with recruiters to fulfill open job orders. The role involves planning and delivering projects effectively with business stakeholders, leaders, and subject matter experts.

• Establish and maintain target lists and develop client relationships.
• Prospect through phone calls, ads, skills marketing, email, social media, in-person meetings, and other methods.
• Generate new job orders weekly in line with performance objectives.
• Manage new and open job orders from intake to fulfillment.
• Utilize Bullhorn to log activity, notes, and information vital to managing a book of business and daily planning.
• Collaborate with teammates to cross-sell and fulfill open positions across other lines of business or national practices as appropriate.

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum 12–24 months selling accounting/financial project solutions or comparable client relations experience in audit, tax, and/or public accounting.
• CPA, CFA, MBA or other professional designation a plus.

Salary range for this role: $65,000 USD – $80,000 USD. Eligible for incentive compensation programs based on performance targets and discretionary bonuses. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, and the company 401(k) retirement plan.
