About the Role:
We are seeking experienced and motivated Carrier Sales Representatives with a minimum of 2 years of experience in freight brokerage to join one of the best carrier sales/freight coverage teams in the industry. You will work closely with transportation companies to ensure that our customers' freight is delivered on time. Your primary goal will be to build strong relationships with carriers and negotiate rates that work for all parties.
The Carrier Sales Representative position is a fast-paced sales role on a highly decorated team, where your efforts are celebrated and rewarded.
- Broker shipments across various regions and for diverse Sunset customers
- Develop and nurture relationships with transportation companies
- Negotiate rates that optimize outcomes for everyone involved
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts using our TMS
- Collaborate with your team to resolve challenges quickly
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Maintain a strong sense of urgency and hustle in this fast-paced role
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- At least 2 years of experience in Carrier Sales or Freight Brokerage
- Proficiency in MS Office and general business software
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A drive to succeed in a sales-oriented environment
