Sales Representative; Primary Care

In this role, you will be an integral part of a sales team developing and managing an assigned territory. You will have the opportunity to implement client marketing plans by using your professional expertise, clinical training, and judgment. You will:

• Leverage audience‑specific marketing and sales materials
• Identify and develop business relationships with targeted Health Care providers
• Plan and prioritize activities to ensure consistent territory coverage aligned to client needs
• Deliver educational and scientific support to inform decisions by physicians, practitioners, and nursing staff
• Identify key influencers and achieve designated customer interaction expectations with a focus on top target customers
• Develop and implement plans for territory to meet market share goals
• Communicate effectively with peers and management
• Demonstrate effective presentation skills
• Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner
• Present a professional sales image in all business matters
• Manage and maintain expense and promotional budgets for the territory within guidelines
• Must operate within Compliance Guidelines at all times
• Adherence to Policies, Process and Procedures

• Bachelor's degree required
• 2-5 years of business‑to‑business experience
• 1-2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience
• Pharmaceutical pain management experience strongly preferred
• Proven track record of success in exceeding results
• Demonstrated sales acumen
• Ability to build and maintain relationships
• Ability to travel and maintain a valid driver's license for visits to assigned healthcare accounts
• Residence within the assigned territory or its boundaries required
• Local and national travel required for this position
• Understanding of compliance & privacy laws
• Must be able to perform all responsibilities of the position
