Territory Sales Manager – Central Georgia
Join Purple Wave as a Territory Sales Manager, a boots‑on‑the‑ground role focused on building relationships with heavy‑equipment owners in agriculture, construction, government, fleet, and lending sectors across Central Georgia.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and potential customers to increase Purple Wave’s visibility and brand recognition.
- Educate and inform clients within the assigned territory about equipment auction services and how they can utilize these services to sell or buy used equipment.
- Gather and enter customer information and opportunities in CRM to maintain a high level of communication with all team members.
- Ensure successful execution and support of all phases of the auction process.
- Represent the company positively to heavy‑equipment owners, buyers, and sellers.
- Raise awareness of upcoming auctions through equipment promotion and package creation.
- Manage buyer and seller relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Respond to inbound sales inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Represent Purple Wave by attending and participating in trade shows, conferences, and similar events to promote services, auctions, and assets.
- Undertake additional assigned duties as requested.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum three (3) years of successful sales experience.
- Ability to travel extensively when required; expected to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Knowledge of construction, agriculture, fleet, and government industries.
- Ability to utilize various technologies, tools, and systems to gather and share information electronically.
- Self‑motivated with initiative in making deals happen.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, people skills, and high ethical standards.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- U.S. Citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.; must possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a background check and complete skills assessment testing if requested.
- Competitive base salary paid bi‑weekly plus commission paid monthly based on contracted sales revenue and additional commissions for qualifying assets.
- Company vehicle, cell phone, and computer equipment provided.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) plan with employer match up to 4% starting on day one.
- Company‑paid life insurance, supplemental coverage options, and fully paid short‑term disability.
- Paid time off: 3 weeks annually.
- Employee Stock Purchase Program available after 90 days.
- Full‑time salaried exempt; not eligible for overtime.
- Physically demanding; requires climbing, lifting, and moving equipment and parts up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility required to work outside standard business hours.
