A Technical Sales Consultant bridges the gap between engineering and sales by explaining complex technical products simply. Core duties include identifying leads, executing product demonstrations, and negotiating contracts. They analyze customer needs and customize solutions to drive revenue while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and industry events.
- Needs Assessment: Perform thorough consultations to understand a client's challenges and determine the best technical product for their use case.
- Product Demonstrations: Deliver compelling technical workshops and presentations, translating complex features into simple, value-driven business outcomes.
- Proposal & Contract Management: Draft detailed technical proposals, respond to RFPs (Requests for Proposal), and negotiate pricing and contract terms.
- Client Retention & Support: Provide post-sales support and maintain long-term relationships to ensure successful implementation and continued customer satisfaction.
