Sales Representative

Performance Food Group is seeking a Sales Representative to grow business in the East Columbus wholesale food service market. In this role, you will manage a territory of restaurant, healthcare, school, and retail accounts, developing relationships, understanding menu and product needs, and presenting tailored solutions from PFG's broad portfolio. You will prospect new customers, execute sales plans, and collaborate with distribution and logistics teams to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries.

The position requires regular customer visits, adherence to safety and food service standards, accurate forecasting, and diligent use of CRM tools to track activities, opportunities, and performance results.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned territory of food service and retail customers in East Columbus
• Prospect and secure new accounts to expand market share
• Conduct customer visits, menu consultations, and product presentations
• Develop pricing proposals and negotiate terms within company guidelines
• Collaborate with operations and logistics to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries
• Use CRM tools to track activities, pipeline, and sales performance
• Analyze sales reports to identify trends and growth opportunities
• Provide customer training and product knowledge support as needed
• Resolve service issues in coordination with customer service and operations teams
• Uphold PFG's safety, compliance, and customer service standards
